FAQS

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

850 Juniper St NE, #150

Atlanta, GA 30308

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

At Flex Physical Therapy, because we are a one-on-one concierge health and wellness clinic and provide individual treatment plans, we do not contract with any insurance providers, including Medicare. Without the restraints of insurance, your therapist is better able to provide the services you need, when you need them. We will collect payment at the time of service (cash, credit card, check, FSA, or HSA) and you have the option to request a super bill for reimbursement.

If you are interested in knowing your potential level of reimbursement for our services, please call your insurance provider and inquire about your coverage for "out of network physical therapy" as well as any applicable deductibles.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO COME TO SEE YOU?

In the state of Georgia, physical therapists have direct access, which means you DO NOT need a physicians referral to receive physical therapy. Under Georgia law however, you are required to have another providers' referral to receive intramuscular manual therapy, or trigger point dry needling.

If you do not have a referring provider, please inquire about our partnership with Dr. Dan Shuman, D.C. at Fx Chiropractic & Performance.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST VISIT?

Your first session will be an evaluation in which your therapist will take a subjective report of the symptoms you are experiencing and then watch you move through a movement screen, test strength, and assess range of motion. Based on this assessment, your physical therapist will create a plan of care specifically designed for symptom reduction and goal oriented success.

Therapy will involve basic exercise, so please come prepared to move in activewear.
